Mock Draft 1.0 | Post-Superbowl

1. TENNESSEE TITANS
Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

Titans GM said the team wouldn’t pass up on a generational talent with the number one pick. Now the generational talent can be up for interpretation, but this has to be hinting at selecting the position flexible Travis Hunter. Though Tennessee is a QB needy team.

2. CLEVELAND BROWNS
Cam Ward, QB, Miami

The problematic QB position forever haunts the Brown’s organization. An Achilles injury for the under performing Deshaun Watson, Cleveland decides to get their choice at QB. Abdul Carter may be a choice here as they need to consider the future of Myles Garrett’s time with Cleveland.

3. NEW YORK GIANTS
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

The Giants will bring a star to New York, they are ready to bring the lights and cameras that comes with Sanders. But the heaviest weight is the potential for Sanders to become a long desired franchise QB.

4. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Tet McMillan, WR, Arizona

The Patriots have a defensive minded head coach but will instead bring a new offensive weapon for their young QB Drake Maye. The Patriots like what they have at the QB position, they lack playmakers on offense for Maye.

5. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas

The Jags will look to add protection for Trevor Lawrence. This offensive line class has a lot of questions but Kelvin Banks is being projected to be moved to offensive guard. I think he can play both positions at the NFL level, and truthfully the Jags need both tackles and guards. Plug and play Banks wherever you need.

6. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

The Raiders will add a disruptive piece in the middle, Pete Carroll will try to rebuild this defense. Though they will need to look at free agency for QB. Graham can play every spot on the defensive line.

7. NEW YORK JETS
Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

A first time head coach in Aaron Glenn, who was the defensive mastermind in Detroit the past few seasons. As a former cornerback, he knows better than anyone that a dominant pass rusher makes the secondaries job easier. Though it doesn’t matter who’s making the decision here, Carter still being available, anyone would know to run the card to the podium here.

8. CAROLINA PANTHERS
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

One of the leagues worst defenses, the Panthers can look a lot of places to rebuild. Johnson was viewed as a highly touted prospect early in this process, he has fallen down the rankings a little, but here they fall into the laps of Carolina.

9. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Kellen Moore will get to work as the new head coach, coming off a Superbowl victory with the help of a dominant offensive line. As Moore begins to build the Saints offense, he will focus on strengthening this offensive line.

10. CHICAGO BEARS
James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee

This is a weird spot to be in for Chicago. Seeing Campbell go off the board a pick before them is a pen throw. This could be a spot for a trade back, or maybe even Ashton Jeanty as new head coach Ben Johnson appreciates a dominant run game. But Pearce is still a difference maker as a pass rusher, there is a lot of value being able to grab him here.

11. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

This seems like a perfect fit for San Fran, Williams isn’t an every down rusher but more of an athletic speedy edge, he can be a perfect piece to rotate with Nick Bosa. He will immediately add to an exhausting defensive front that the 49ers build themselves on.

12. DALLAS COWBOYS
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

New head coach and offensive coordinator prioritize good rushing attack. Which is something the Cowboys missed early on in 2024. Jeanty can be a difference maker for Dallas and take a lot of pressure of Dak Prescott. Jeanty will be able to add as a receiving option as well.

13. MIAMI DOLPHINS
Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia

Miami can use help all over their defense. Starks is a great utility piece and can play all over. Deep safety, nickel cornerback and even as a small linebacker hybrid that has become popular. He reminds me a lot of Brian Branch in Detroit.

14. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

It will be interesting to see where Warren goes in this draft. Though listed at tightend, he really is a big receiver. His stock shot up the draft with his post season performance this year. This is the earliest fit for Warren, giving Anthony Richardson a reliable target in the middle.

15. ATLANTA FALCONS
Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

Receivers have become more valuable in the draft, surprisingly this is the 2nd one off the board at 15. The Falcons see this as a steal, a playmaker receiver who dominates with the ball in his hand. As the Falcons make the decision to go with Penix at QB, they need to get him a weapon.

16. ARIZONA CARDINALS
Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

The Cardinals will likely have a different-looking defensive line in 2025, with four impending free agents. Mike Green has flown up draft boards recently and I wouldn’t be surprised if he is the 2nd edge rusher off the board. Green has been dominant all throughout college and led the FBS in sacks, the only flag is playing in the Sunbelt.

17. CINCINNATI BENGALS
Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

The Bengals love getting deep threats for Joe Burrow to air it out. With the potential of Tee Higgins having a rough relationship with the Bengals front office, and among contract negotiations. The opportunity to take Golden can make moving on from Higgins a much easier decision.

18. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

The Seahawks have had trouble finding the right offensive linemen. Booker is a change of direction, a more powerful guard can be a day one starter. Booker will move defensive linemen, clearing the way for Kenneth Walker to run for 1k.

19. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

Walker could go anywhere in the 1st round. He plays both linebacker and edge rusher, though he doesn’t excel at either but the versatility is interesting. Some concerns if he is big enough to be an edge rusher full time at the next level.

20. DENVER BRONCOS
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

After a great rookie year from Bo Nix, the Broncos will get a WR #2 for this offense and take this thing to the next level. Courtland Sutton eclipsed 1000 yards last year, and Egbuka has been a consistent player for Ohio State the past few years.

21. PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

This is another example of a great prospect falling a little too far in this draft. Barron could play safety but I think he would be a perfect pairing on the other side of Joey Porter Jr, and make it difficult to throw against the Pittsburgh defense.

22. LOS ANGLES CHARGERS
Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

The defensive tackles after Mason Graham are an interesting group, I foresee them being a popular late 1st or early 2nd round choice. Williams was a part of a dominant force that shut down Texas in the CFB Playoff.

23. GREEN BAY PACKERS
Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

The Packers have a corner entering free agency and need to pair their star Jaire Alexander with another long cornerback. Revel dealt with some injuries during the 2024 season but is projected to be ready to go by the time preseason rolls around.

24. MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

The addition of Harmon will help the run defense in Minnesota and be a great addition to an already secure Vikings defense.

25. HOUSTON TEXANS
Savion Williams, WR, TCU

With their star WR heading for free agency, along with their #2 coming back from a severe injury. The Texans needs to add some speedy talent to their WR core for C.J. Stroud. Williams is a great WR to fit with Stroud, just throw the ball up in the air and seemingly Williams always comes down with it.

26. LOS ANGLES RAMS
Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

The Rams will need to look to add more protection on the offensive line soon. Simmons can be a perfect pick because the Rams don’t necessarily need play from Simmons this season. This is the best offensive tackle in this draft, he tore his patella tendon in October and may not be ready to go for the beginning of the season.

27. BALTIMORE RAVENS
Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

Baltimore always takes a chance on a player and seemingly they always work out. Morrison is a great prospect, he is just flagged because he’s a slight corner and may be restricted to slot corner or a smaller safety role in the NFL.

28. DETROIT LIONS
Andrew Mukuba, SAF, Texas

There are some interesting safeties in this class, Mukuba can pair nicely with Brian Branch and play a deep coverage role and make sure the Lions defense doesn’t get killed over top like they did against the Commanders in the playoffs.

29. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

Two pending free agents on the defensive line. This is a similar player to Dante Fowler who they’ll likely lose. A quick pressure edge rusher, Eze was the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. This selection would make sure the Commander pass rush doesn’t lose a step.

30. BUFFALO BILLS
Xavier Watts, SAF, Notre Dame

Another safety that plays all over the field, the Bills can plug and play Watts wherever they need the help. They take the best player on the board here.

31. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

The Chiefs need some help on the offensive line, unfortunately, this is not the deepest offensive line draft class. However, on the other side, there is some depth for defensive linemen. Chris Jones will be the only DT on the roster next year. Grant is a big body that can clog lines in the middle.

32. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

The Eagles will give a lot of credit for their Superbowl victory to their dominant defense and if we have learned anything from GM Howie Roseman, success does not stop him from adding another. They get the best true linebacker in the class here to end the 1st.
