Mock Draft 2.0 | Post-Free Agency

1. TENNESSEE TITANS
Cam Ward, QB, Miami

The Titans have said they want a generational talent, and through free agency they may have shown their hand. Adding depth on the offensive line and not touching the quarterback room may be a clear sign that they want their franchise QB. Though expect Tennessee to still field potential trade outs here.

2. CLEVELAND BROWNS
Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

The Brown’s can’t take Ward with this pick, and decide to pass on Sanders. Despite the potential foot surgery needed for Carter, the Browns will create the most terrifying front in the NFL with Abdul Carter and Myles Garrett coming off the edge.

3. NEW YORK GIANTS
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

The Giants will bring a star to New York, they are ready for the lights and cameras that comes with Sanders. But the heaviest weight is the potential for Sanders to become a long desired franchise QB.

4. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

The Patriots essentially double up at this pick, the defensive minded head coach gets a lock down corner outside, and Drake Maye gets a new weapon. Hunter is a full time cornerback in my eyes, who will have special packages on offense.

5. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

The Jags will look to support their defensive ends with a game wrecker in the middle. Graham is NFL ready and will secure the middle of the Jaguars defense to support newly added defenders including CB Jourdan Lewis.

6. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Pete Carroll as the head coach, Geno Smith as the QB. Both NFL veterans know the value of running the football. You won’t have to worry about getting the small yards anymore with Jeanty in the backfield. A weapon as a runner and pass catcher.

7. NEW YORK JETS
Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

The Jets will do something that Chicago failed to do with Justin Fields, give him some protection up front. Simmons is the best tackle in this class and will finish up a good offensive line in New York. Simmons biggest issue was the patella tendon he tore in October, now doctors are reporting he will be good to go for training camp.

8. CAROLINA PANTHERS
Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

One of the leagues worst defenses, the Panthers can look a lot of places to rebuild. Walker can come in and play as a 3-4 outside linebacker and double as a pass rusher. He will come in and improve the Panthers run defense.

9. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas

Kellen Moore will get to work as the new head coach, coming off a Superbowl victory with the help of a dominant offensive line. As Moore begins to build the Saints offense, he will focus on strengthening this offensive line. Banks will come in and be a starter at left guard for New Orleans.

10. CHICAGO BEARS
Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

New HC Ben Johnson values a dominant offensive line. He’s added pieces in free agency to the interior line, and will lock up a powerful right tackle in Membou. Caleb Williams should have plenty of time in the pocket next season.

11. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

This seems like a perfect fit for San Fran, losing pieces in the offseason on their defensive line. Here is an edge rusher who can be an athletic run defender and pair nicely with Nick Bosa’s pass rush ability on the other side.

12. DALLAS COWBOYS
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

The Cowboys will look to make a splash at pick 12. They have added depth at many of their needy positions, three positions remain unclear. Slot corner, 1-tech defensive tackle, and wide receiver #2. McMillan who’s draft stock has fallen because of lack of speed concerns, and his unwillingness to run a recorded 40-dash. Here Dallas locks up a physical receiver as the outside target to compliment Ceedee Lamb.

13. MIAMI DOLPHINS
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Miami can use help all over their defense. Johnson will compliment Jaylen Ramsey and secure the Dolphins as a pair of physical cornerbacks. Johnson is another player who people fear about his long speed, but on tape he has shown his abilities to be around the ball and still be a great option for Miami.

14. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

While no one has any idea what is going on at quarterback in Indianapolis, maybe not even the Colts, any team could use a physical force to protect your QB. Regardless if they stick with Anthony Richardson or…Daniel Jones. One of those guys will need some help and Booker will pair nicely at right guard, mirroring Quenton Nelson.

15. ATLANTA FALCONS
Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

Even with the acquisition of Leonard Floyd, there is still a need for edge rusher. Green has been dominant all throughout college and led the FBS in sacks. This combination can make the Atlanta Falcons hold a fearful front, making it easier for corners to cover.

16. ARIZONA CARDINALS
Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

The Cardinals will get a physical force in the middle. Arizona has not seen the potential for a dominant front in many years, and this could be a positive way to move back into the playoffs. Williams had plenty of dominant moments in the CFP to warrant this pick.

17. CINCINNATI BENGALS
James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee

The Bengals just paid all of the money in the world for two weapons in Ja’Maar Chase and Tee Higgins. Both 100 million dollar receivers, Joe Burrow asked for it to happen and now he has to win with it. There won’t be a lot of money to add defensive pieces, so they do it in the draft. Here is a dominant run defender and has pass rush ability to add to the defensive line. Some character concerns push him down the board in this mock.

18. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

After losing DK Metcalf, Seattle will be looking for a new outside receiver. Now Golden is not Metcalf but he is good route runner that makes difficult catches. A great target for newly acquired QB Sam Darnold.

19. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia

Starks is a great utility piece and can play all over. Deep safety, nickel cornerback and even as a small linebacker hybrid that has become popular. He reminds me a lot of Brian Branch in Detroit. And good thing, because the Bucs need the defensive help.

20. DENVER BRONCOS
Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

After a great rookie year from Bo Nix, the Broncos will get him another offensive weapon. Courtland Sutton eclipsed 1000 yards last year, and Burden will come in and fill the slot receiver role. In many eyes, Burden fell in this draft and will be considered a steal for Denver here.

21. PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

The Steelers will add a powerful defensive linemen with some pass rush potential on the interior, gearing up to replace veteran Cam Hayward. Harmon can come in and play a very similar role as Hayward solidified in Pittsburgh for many years.

22. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Justin Herbert will get a reliable TE target here. Warren has the ability to play a big receiver role, as he catches and moves smoothly and due to his larger stature, he will stay inside to block at times. Warren has been projected to go all over the first round, in this scenario he takes a bit of a fall.

23. GREEN BAY PACKERS
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

The Packers will review their close playoff loss to Philly and point to a few reasons it happened. Overall, the lack of playmakers for Jordan Love will never get them far. Egbuka will be a sure WR #2, and be a consistent target for Love for hopefully the rest of his career.

24. MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

Minnesota needs some help rebuilding their secondary, and they will get a big steal in the draft. Barron plays with a great IQ and will likely make his stardom in the NFL as a nickel corner. He has the ability to play all over the secondary as he did at Texas, filling in some holes in Minnesota.

25. HOUSTON TEXANS
Will Campbell, OT, LSU

After the Texans trade away their left tackle Laremy Tunsil, they will see a starting caliber tackle fall to them. Campbell is a good moving left tackle and may be the last plug and play starter in this class. The Texans will need to refine on his hand work and he will be playing at a high level.

26. LOS ANGELES RAMS
Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

The Rams will need a solid middle linebacker to command the defensive front, and Campbell can be just that. A read and react player, successful blitzer and continues to play with a high motor, a great piece for the LA defense.

27. BALTIMORE RAVENS
Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

Baltimore always invests in good pass rushers, and continues to produce in that department. Ezeiruaku will come in and be a solid 3rd down pass rusher for Baltimore. A great athlete and productive when it comes to getting the quarterback.

28. DETROIT LIONS
Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

The Lions will look to get their defensive line healthy again, and will had a big interior presence with Grant. This Detroit line will cause headaches and nightmares for opposing quarterbacks with this addition.

29. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

A situation where the Commanders see a best available selection and they don’t think twice about it. Revel fits the mold of a Dan Quinn corner by his measurable. Revel is a sticky corner who would have been a much higher pick if he wasn’t coming off a torn ACL.

30. BUFFALO BILLS
Nick Emmanwori, SAF, Notre Dame

The Bills will add to their defense, a physical safety who can be an aggressive tackler in the run game. A much needed addition, and topped with Emmanwori’s ability to play at safety or at linebacker.

31. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State

The Chiefs need some help on the offensive line, adding onto some free agent loses. Kansas City will look to rebuild their offensive front with a fighter at guard. Jackson has the ability to play tackle, as he was asked to do that last season for an injured Josh Simmons.

32. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Wyatt Milum, OG, West Virginia

The Eagles made a trade to acquire guard Kenyon Green. Which is a clear sign that they are looking to improve their spot at right guard. We know GM Howie Roseman always does his due diligence and explores his options. Drafting a guard to battle for the guard spot or develop for a year behind Green can be realities in Philly.
