Same Movie, Different Year | Broncos Recap

As the Cowboys fell 44-24 to the Denver Broncos. I am reminded of the last two games against Denver. They feel eerie similar. The ball just cant get into rhythm offensively and the defense can’t make a stop.

Dak Prescott talked about the identity being inconsistent after the game. I would say the defensive identity is pretty consistent.

If you are an offensive player and haven’t done much all season, you will have your best game against the Cowboys. Every time. They will give up plays on the ground and in the air. On track to be the worst defense in Cowboys and NFL history with the amount of yards given up.

Troy Franklin just doubled his season touchdown receptions Sunday. While the Cowboys gave up 111 rushing yards to J.K. Dobbins, rookie RJ Harvey had his second most carries and yards of his young career. While also scoring his first and second NFL touchdown.

This was one of the first games that Brian Schottenheimer has lost as a HC. I think the play calling didn’t get create anything for the Cowboys offense. This team has been stopped up once they get into the redzone.

Along with Dak Prescott, forcing throws to get the team back into the game. I think it falls on both of them. It was very frustrating to see Dak throw that interception at the end of the first half when you were in field goal range. Regardless if you were already down 17.

Cowboys went away from the run quickly. And somehow they couldn’t get anything going to Jake Ferguson.

As injuries deplete the defense. It becomes more and more of a joke. Already starting the back of the depth chart at safety and ending the game with corners playing safety.

This defense has too many holes too fix with one trade. Unfortunately, it seems apparent that its too difficult for the offense to always keep you in games with this defensive unit.
